In 2024, Brixton Village Studios closed its doors after it was sold to a private buyer. The cutting edge recording studio, located in the heart of Brixton, was frequented by artists of all calibers. Managed by legendary British rapper Jaja Soze (PDC) and producer Aaron Lindh, the space also gave opportunities to young engineers and producers.

Instead of looking for work in another professional studio, Aaron Lindh, started his own recording business with the help of the community of artists and friends around him.

Acoustician Yohan Fang and Lindh designed each structural detail, and from there the origins of London’s newest and most exciting artist-owned recording space: Corduroy Studios was born.

On April 3rd 2026, Corduroy Studios will host its grand opening to fellow musicians, filmmakers, artists and friends. “Corduroy Studios: Sounds You Feel. Our highest priority is respecting the integrity of your recordings; whether that is in music, film or podcasts. We will help you produce, record, mix and master your work – ready to be presented to the public at the highest of standards” -Aaron Lindh, Founder (BA) (CertHE)

Corduroy Studios has since expanded its services into live AV work, having been contracted by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea to oversee the operations in various lecture theatres and concert halls. Corduroy Studios have overseen various film screenings for Earl’s Court Film Festival, Health Workers 4 Palestine & many more.

Today, Corduroy Studios is building its reputation as an exciting space where artists of all levels can complete their unfinished works. We invite filmmakers, podcast hosts & content creators to get in touch with any recording & post production needs as well.
